Balsam Mountain
This project included all the cabinetry, front entrance pivot door as well as supplying interior doors. The open, airy feel of the kitchen designed by Chad Harding of Carlton Edwards Architecture, was based on using one inch formaldehyde free plywood as structural components. This allowed us to keep the intended look. We fabricated the black stove hood to be integral to the look. Iron Maiden Studios applied the black patina. For the breakfast nook table, we designed the table base to mimic the H-beams, routing out the floor to keep the base flush an avoiding potential toe stubbing.
